Green Living on the green in Austwick

Going Green on the Green!
Having run my Green Living eco friendly business with just an online presence since 2008, I then opened up a bricks and mortar shop on the green in Austwick in April 2019. And it’s really paid off.
“I’ve been overwhelmed with the amount of support I’ve had, both before and during the coronavirus pandemic. It just shows that there really is a market for affordable ethical-and-eco shopping in the area.”
Among the products Green Living stocks is a wide range of children’s clothing, ethically made from organic cotton under Fair Trade conditions. Locally-based Piccalilly is just one of the brands on sale.
But it is the refill market that is keeping me busy. Offering eco-friendly products from laundry liquid to hand-sanitizer, as well as dry foods such as rice, pasta, oats and herbs and spices, Green Living has become a one-stop-shop for people wanting to do their bit for the planet, in a way that won’t break the bank.
“We are always searching for ways to offer our customers even more choice and we product test tirelessly to find that plastic-free alternative for every day use, sampling everything that comes into the shop ourselves.”
When it comes to Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate bars, sampling is no hardship! Available in a range of flavours, caramel and sea salt being a firm favourite with customers, Tony’s Chocolonely meets all of Green Living’s ethical and eco criteria, and is delicious too! And the good news is that we offer a click-and-collect service, ideal in the current climate.
We aim to continue extending the range of products Green Living offers, there is really no excuse for not going green on the green!
Green Living is based in The Smithy, Austwick.
